Are you looking for a flavoursome dinner for a festive occasion? Our dining room with a geranium veranda has room for around 65 lunch or dinner guests. At our farm, you can book the entire facility for yourself and your company and feel quite at home, take it slow, enjoy the food, the environment, the animals, the surrounding natural environment and the tranquillity. (Minimum 10 people). The nearly two metre thick stone walls with massive ceiling beams are illustrative of this unique environment. The old stone barn from 1824 has been carefully restored – and we promise you that it, along with the good food and drink, is well worth a visit!
All food, bread and pastries are made from scratch. We use local produce whenever available, often organic. We are open all year round, both excellent lunches and dinners can be booked in advance for conferences and activities, please contact us for more information.
Our goal is to always serve refreshing beverages, with or without alcohol, to go with our good food – wine, beer, or perhaps something else from the bar. We are fully licenced and when sourcing beverages, we look for local suppliers showcasing the best Swedish Lapland has to offer.
Cooking courses – book your culinary experiences today!
At Jössgården, we invite you to participate in a rewarding cookery course together with a professional chef – an experience for all the senses. We start the evening by offering you a glass of bubbly and an appetiser to go with it, after which the group will be divided into three: starter, main course and dessert. The chef will instruct the respective groups on how to cook the ingredients and will be available in the kitchen throughout the evening. After approximately two hours we sit down at the table and enjoy the meal together.
In addition to enjoying good food and company, you will also get to hear stories about the food, the farm and its history. Available for booking on Tuesdays, with other days available on request.
Bake your own bread in the bakehouse on the farm – summer activity
The oven has been heated to a glow with birchwood since the day before and a lovely aroma greets us as we walk inside the old bakehouse on the farm, it feels like we are going back in time. We enjoy a Swedish fika, a light snack with Swedish pot-boiled coffee made over an open fire, and we discuss today’s baking. After about two hours the baking is ready to sample and the taste of the hot freshly baked bread is just amazing. The ingredients we use for our delightful bread are of course organic – good food is important to us! The activity is suitable for all ages, children too, but they need to be accompanied by adults.
Bread baking is available for booking in summer.
At our farm you can sit outside, on the terrace by the sauna or by one the two hearths with barbecue benches that are found on the farm. Groups can also book our cosy grilling hut, with seating by the hearth.
An accessible toilet with baby changing-table available is on the farm.
In our cosy little farm shop you can buy flavoursome and beautiful local products, come in and have a look – we are constantly receiving new items from local craftspeople and tasty local treats. Great gifts, for either yourself or someone you love.
